Oct 12th 2008 – Fleetwood Contest
Drawn 9th of 9 bands and playing Goff Richards ‘Oceans’ the band achieved 2nd place in the 3rd section at Fleetwood today. After a few years out of the contest scene this is an excellent achievement. It reflects the hard work put in by all and especially the consistent commitment, direction and encouragement from Steve Simpson (MD). In addition to the odd post result hangover the band also walked away with a trophy and a cheque for £200. Congratulations to all!
