Well that’s us finished for the summer season! We’ve had a brilliant run of both outdoor and indoor events, marches and concerts, finished off with a very windy but successful afternoon at Happy Mount Park today!
A huge thank you to all our audiences for supporting us, dep players from around the Fylde coast (and beyond) for their help and all the conductors who have also helped us this season. We genuinely couldn’t have done it without you.
We will be taking a short break from rehearsing in August and will be back ready and raring to go for our next concert, along with the wonderful Jane Wilkinson and Trinitas Day Choir on 5th September.

On Saturday the band were out playing at Weeton Garden Party. It was our final marching job of the season. We would just like to thank everyone that has seen us out and about over the last few weeks and given us a cheer and a wave. To our friends at Poulton-le-Fylde Band , Blackpool Brass , Pilling Jubilee Silver Band , Freckleton Band , Lostock Hall Memorial Brass Band and @leyland band for helping us out at some of these jobs. I don't think any band would be able to do these jobs without any help from our local friends. A final Thankyou goes to the Weather Gods, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think we got wet at any of our parades this year and the majority of them was in the blazing sunshine.
Our next job is on Sunday 26th July where we will be at Happy Mount Park in Morecambe. So bring your chairs and a picnic and we'll see you there. 2:30pm
